Martin Helme (1976) is a BA (Tartu University, Faculty of Contemporary History). From 1995 to 2000 he worked for the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including at the Estonian Embassies in Bonn and Kiev. He was also an analyst in the Policy Planning Department. From 2000 to 2004 he worked as program manager in the Open Estonia Foundation, as a philosophy teacher, museum director and head of PR at the Estonian Chamber of Notaries. Since October 2004 he is editor for world news at Delfi.ee (the biggest internet based media outlet in Estonia). Martin also runs the conservative Estonian website Syndicate of Common Sense. Martin speaks Estonian, English, Finnish, German and Russian.
