Ex-Muslims Oppose Appeasement

A quote from Reuters, 20 June 2007
“Ex-Muslims” hoping to change the terms of debate about Islam in Europe will launch a British group in London on Thursday. The Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain will be the latest addition to groupings that began in Germany in February and spread to Scandinavia in May. A Dutch group will hold its launch in September. [...]
“Too many things in the media and government policies have been geared to pandering to the political Islamic movements and Islamic organizations,” Maryam Namazie, head of the British group, told Reuters[...] “I hope we’ll get a lot more attention and begin to change the debate,”
Another Point To Ponder Upon

While 'they' are pondering upon the rights and wrongs of the Salman Rushdie affair,perhaps 'they' should also give some thought to this question.What does the Qur'an say about Israel?

Fact: Salman Rushdie did NOT fabricate the 'Satanic Verses'.
Fact: The 'Satanic Verses' were originally spoken by the prophet Muhammed.
Fact: You don't have to take MY word for this.Anybody interested in researching this subject for themselves can do so.
I suggest that all interested parties should start their personal investigations here:

Protest demonstrations in UK
Submitted by logicalman on Sun, 2007-06-24 00:19.
My local newspaper already has an article on muslims' protest against Sir Salman in UK. That's faster than I predicted. This is gonna be more serious than the Danish Mohammed cartoons. As usual, those muslims protest without even read Rushdie's Satanic Verses, which is a parody as his other books. BTW the fatwa to kill him is back active again. This time UK may wake up.
Also in the Netherlands and Belgium

WHY are they doing this ?

Anybody,indeed,EVERYBODY,Muslim,ex-Muslim and non-Muslim alike, reading this article needs to ask themselves the simple question,Why? Why,Why,Why, would these people risk their lives in such a courageous manner? For an inkling,I recommend the following website:
www.Faithfreedom.org
If you REALLY care about these individuals,then the very least you can do is to take the time to study this website at length.Otherwise,forget the pretense that you care and move on with your lives.
Still interested? Then let the debate begin.

The Israelites at the time of Moses entered into a covenant with their God, which they chose to do and didn't have to. Now the verses talk about "entice secretly", meaning in absence of such enticement, there's no cause for punishment according to the covenant. Furthermore, the Mosaic covenant no longer applies after the death of Jesus, who fulfilled the Mosaic law.
In contrast, muslims would search to destroy apostates that they don't even know, under Allah's command (Allah is Mohammed's alter ego)
What to think about the fact Pakistanis are demonstrating to prostest against Sir Salman's knighthood. What business is theirs to protest? But wait! There will be many killings of non-muslims under that pretext, even there're very few of them in Pakistan or Malaysia or Indonesia. Those muslims are really Mohammed's killer robots.

New converts to Islam appear vehemently supportive of 'Islamism' whereas ex-Muslims are at the ready to attack the religion. There is nothing abnormal about this, however, this situation serves to inflame tensions.
Truly brave

Vocal ex-Muslims are my heroes. It's so typical that the lefty elites in the West, who so often talk about "brave" intellectuals (often in reference to themselves), don't support the truly brave people who REALLY speak truth to power and face violent retaliation as a result.
Courageous

Ex-muslims who dare to go public are very courageous. They've been sentenced by default to death by muslims all over the world who obey the Quran to take upon themselves to kill muslim apostates. Yet world leaders still talk about Islam as "religion of peace". Duh!

6. If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
9
But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God
